A.S.A.'s {AMERICAN'S FOR SAFE ACCESS} Data Quality Act petition

On Oct. 4, 2004 the Official paper work was filed as a REQUEST
FOR CORRECTION OF INFORMATION DISSEMINATED BY HHS
REGARDING THE MEDICAL USE OF MARIJUANA
Re: HHS Review of the 1995 Marijuana Rescheduling
Petition: 66 Federal Register 20040 (April 18, 2001)
at pages 20039 & 20051-52
I had the privilege of being there, as well as, at the Nation Press
Building in D.C. for the Official Press Release & Conference,
Announcing the serving of the Data Quality Act, to H.H.S. and the
very public protest and serving of a petition the following day in
front of the U.S.D.H.H.S. of over 7000 Doctors names demanding
that H.H.S. in fact Reschedule Marijuana.
(Unfortunately, I never received most the photos I paid to have
taken of this event, (this seems to happen more often than not)
despite the fact, I also paid for all of the photographers expenses
and travel.)
I also had the privilege of being the first speaker announced to
speak in front of H.H.S., which came much to my surprise, as I
asked by Steph at the last minute if I wanted to go first. It was an
honor.
(no, didn't even get a good pic of it, go figure...)
To be here to represent members and patients from my Ministry
and Groups, Diverse Sanctuary and the group "Stop the Ignorance"
The Never Ending War On Drugs, which I had founded originally in
Kentucky and the group O.P.N. Ohio Patients Network, with whom I
held the Board position and represented as their Official
Membership Liaison. I personally was here representing a couple of
thousand people.
When I finished speaking, the crowd cheered and I was rushed by
Loretta Null of Pot TV and The U.S. Marijuana Party with camera...

"Who's the little bitty lady with the GREAT BIG VOICE ?" As she
introduced herself, and her assistant, while asking for a brief
interview. It was a pleasure, I enjoyed our meeting, it was like we
knew each other in a way.
This was my first time in D.C., long less speaking in DC.. Though it
was not my first time speaking, dealing with legal matters
concerning this issue or attending a protest. See More Pics
